If you think you can't paint, well let me tell you, you can do anything your heart desires with the help of Faye Dasher Fletcher when it comes to painting. I started taking in person classes 6 years ago and I have learned so many things and how to express myself on canvas. She teaches in a way that you can paint as a beginner or a seasoned artist. The Dreams on Canvas courses have been wonderful, they are available to each student to view and paint at your convenience. I am looking forward to seeing what Faye has to offer in the coming months. I started the online class February of 2021. Not knowing what to expect, I was very pleased with the results. The lessons are very well explained, and you will make 4 paintings in each week. 3 little ones, to practice the technique, and one big one where you will paint everything you have learned. After each painting you send a picture of your painting, Faye will give you a critique on what you did good, and what you can do better/different. For me this was very helpful, i have learn't more in these classes then i have learn't watching Bob Ross on youtube. I struggled with many things, talking with Faye and learning from her critiques i have have made so much progress! Painting is so much more fun. Faye is very helpful, very understanding and she helps you to get the confidence to try again and keep on painting. I just finished online classes with Faye Dasher Fletcher, CRI, Dreams on Canvas. I am a beginner and learned so much by taking her classes. She explained every step in great detail from how to prepare the canvas, how to load your brush and how to apply every brush stroke to the canvas. Her critiques were especially helpful and she provided instructions on how to fix my mistakes for future paintings. I still have a lot to learn!

Anybody who wants to learn how to paint should absolutely have Faye as a CRI. She is not just my art teacher but she has become a very good friend to me and has such a heart of gold. She makes you feel like you can do anything and put it on a canvas and, because of her, I love to paint more and more every day. Simply put, she’s the kind of person that brightens up your day the minute you see her. Not all teachers have that quality but she does.

Faye is definitely an encourager. As she paints, she is giving helpful tips. She sometimes wants the color lighter or darker and she will tell you what she can do to make the color what she desires. Her library of videos are learning experiences that a beginner can watch over and over to improve on his or her technique. Her easy-going personality makes a beginner very comfortable in asking questions and taking advice. I would highly recommend her.
